The 5km event will be for all ages from Under 18 Grade and older
The U20 / U18 (both male and female grades) will have their own combined 5km race.

Under 16 and below grades
They will run shorter distances, the same as in previous years.

The only change from last year’s road champs at Wainui is that last year’s single 10km race will be replaced by two 5 km races (one for all adult females and the other for all adult males).

Race 2, 12:40pm, 2k, U12 Boys and Girls
Race 3, 12:55pm, 3.5k, U16 Boys and Girls
Race 4, 1:35pm, 2.5k, U14 Boys and Girls
Race 5, 1:50pm, Juniors 5k Champs – WU18, MU18, WU20, MU20
Race 6, 2:30pm, Women’s 5k Champs – All Women and Masters grades
Race 7, 3:00pm, Men’s 5k Champs – All Men and Masters grades

AWARDS
Road Champs Medals are awarded for all age groups for the 5km and less distances.

Winter Series
In addition, for all grades U18 and below, this is the last event for winter series points. Winter series medals for these grades will be presented at this event.

NOTE:
The 10k road championships for all grades U20 and above are being held at the same venue in a separate 10k race one week later, 10am Saturday 7 September.
